I grew up where cacao is not an ingredient.

the human behind
hi, I’m Meli. designer by training. cook by obsession. Berliner by choice. Latina by heart.
This started in the moments between — cooking for the people I love, exploring flavors the way a designer explores form.
As a UX designer, my work has always been about the human experience — understanding people, innovating and improving.
Food became the same practice. Every recipe, an iteration. Every bite, a test of what’s possible.
For years, food was my private language, a way to say things that words couldn’t.
Then something shifted. MS came into my life, making me more sensitive, more emotional, more aware of everything that lives and feels.
My medicine became love, toward my own body, toward every living being, toward the planet we share.
That love pushed me toward this.
xsassy is a ceremony.
It starts with choosing the ingredients — building a relationship with them. It continues through every single moment of preparation.
After years of cooking for my people and receiving so much love in return, I decided to expand that circle.
